Introduction

VO Tracker ("we," "our," or "the app") is a voiceover career management app developed by Andrew Russell. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled when you use VO Tracker.

Information We Collect

Data You Enter

VO Tracker allows you to log gigs, auditions, training sessions, and career-related notes. All data you enter is stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device storage framework. We do not have access to your data, and it is never transmitted to our servers.

Subscription Information

VO Tracker offers optional premium subscriptions managed entirely through Apple's App Store. We do not collect, process, or store any payment information. All billing and transaction data is handled by Apple in accordance with their privacy policy.

iCloud Backups (Premium Feature)

If you choose to enable iCloud backups, your data is encrypted on your device and uploaded to your personal iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit service. These backups are stored in your private iCloud database and are accessible only to you. We cannot access, read, or decrypt your iCloud backups.

Encrypted Fields

Certain sensitive fields within the app may be encrypted using industry-standard encryption (Apple CryptoKit) before being stored on your device, providing an additional layer of protection.

Information We Do Not Collect

VO Tracker does not collect, transmit, or share:

• Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
• Location data
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Usage analytics or behavioral data
• Contacts, photos, or other device data
• Cookies or web tracking data

We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Remote Content

The app's Resources section fetches publicly available industry resources from a content server (GitHub). This request does not include any personal or user-specific data. Only standard HTTP headers (such as device type and operating system version) are sent as part of normal internet communication.

Local Notifications

VO Tracker may send local notifications to remind you to log your career activity. These notifications are generated entirely on your device and are not sent through any external service. You can disable notifications at any time through your device's Settings.

Data Storage and Security

• All career data is stored locally on your device.
• Optional iCloud backups are encrypted before leaving your device.
• Local safety backups are stored within the app's secure sandbox on your device.
• We employ Apple's native security frameworks to protect your data.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your data remains on your device for as long as you choose to keep it. You can delete individual records at any time within the app. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data. iCloud backups can be managed through your iCloud account settings.

Children's Privacy

VO Tracker is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Third-Party Services

VO Tracker uses the following Apple platform services:

• StoreKit - For processing in-app subscriptions (handled entirely by Apple)
• CloudKit - For optional encrypted iCloud backups (stored in your personal iCloud)
• Local Notifications - For on-device reminders

No third-party SDKs, analytics platforms, or advertising networks are used.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
