Introduction

VO Tracker ("we," "our," or "the app") is a voiceover career management app developed by Andrew Russell. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled when you use VO Tracker.

Information We Collect

Career Records

Your jobs, auditions, training entries, and career notes are stored locally on your device. These records are not included in the optional feedback survey.

Optional Feedback Survey

If you submit the optional in-app survey, your response is sent through Google Apps Script and forwarded to the developer's VO Tracker email inbox. The submission includes a persistent installation UUID, usage counts, survey answers and preferences, any free text you enter, and the app version. The installation UUID identifies an app installation.

This feedback is used to understand how people use VO Tracker and decide what to improve. It is not used for advertising or tracking across other apps or websites. Please avoid including client details or other sensitive information in free-text answers.

Purchases

Lifetime Pro is an optional one-time in-app purchase, not a subscription. Apple handles payment and transaction information through the App Store. We do not collect or store your payment details.

iCloud Backup Snapshots

If you use iCloud backups, snapshots of your career records are stored in your personal iCloud account through Apple's CloudKit service. Manual backup and recovery are available for free; automatic backups are a Pro feature. Restoring a saved snapshot is an explicit action. This is not live synchronization between devices.

Advertising and Tracking

VO Tracker does not use advertising networks or third-party analytics SDKs. Optional survey submissions are used for product improvement, not advertising or cross-app tracking.

Remote Content

The app's Resources section fetches public industry resources from GitHub. Loading remote content involves normal network requests to that service.

Local Notifications

VO Tracker may send local notifications to remind you to log your career activity. These notifications are generated entirely on your device and are not sent through any external service. You can disable notifications at any time through your device's Settings.

Data Storage and Security

• All career data is stored locally on your device.
• Optional iCloud backup snapshots are stored in your personal iCloud account.
• Local safety backups are stored within the app's secure sandbox on your device.
• We employ Apple's native security frameworks to protect your data.

Data Retention and Deletion

You can delete individual career records within the app. Removing local records or uninstalling the app does not delete feedback already sent to the developer or copies saved in backups. For questions about submitted feedback or to request deletion, contact the email below.

Children's Privacy

VO Tracker is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Third-Party Services

VO Tracker uses these services:

• StoreKit - For processing the one-time in-app purchase (handled entirely by Apple)
• CloudKit - For optional iCloud backup snapshots (stored in your personal iCloud)
• Local Notifications - For on-device reminders
• Google Apps Script - For receiving optional survey submissions and forwarding them to the developer's VO Tracker email inbox
• GitHub - For loading public industry resources

No third-party analytics SDKs or advertising networks are used. The optional survey uses the feedback service described above.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
